Child, Young Person & Family Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
I have many years’ experience working as a therapist with children, adolescents and young adults in a variety of settings, including children’s centres, schools, alternative provisions, secure settings, and the NHS.
I am currently employed as a Senior Psychotherapist in the NHS, where I support children and adolescents.
I have offered therapy to children, adolescents and young adults facing emotional responses to a wide range of challenges, including trauma, neuro-diversity, speech and language difficulties, children and young people who are looked after and post-adoption.
I am accredited with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP).
I originally trained as a Music Therapist and am accredited with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Association of Music Therapists (BAMT).
I adhere to the BPC and HCPC code of ethics. I attend regular continued professional development and have a particular interest in how childhood experiences affect us.
I attend regular supervision to help me understand how to continue to develop and adapt my practice to best support the children and young people I see in sessions.
